Where can I find happiness?
Imagine. Create. Share.
Since 2008, the Kids4Kids My Story Creation annual story writing and illustration competition has provided primary students across Hong Kong with a creative platform that enables the budding writers and artists to imagine, create and share their stories.
This story was written and illustrated by kid(s) who participated in the Kids4Kids annual 'My Story Creation competition'. We hope to celebrate all the kids who used their creativity and imagination to create a story by giving them an opportunity to custom print their story, and be able to share and inspire other kids to create their own story.
Proceeds from the sale of this custom print story will help fund the Literacy Development Programmes at Kids4Kids to provide creative learning opportunities to low resourced communities in Hong Kong. By buying a Kids4Kids custom print story, you are not only applauding the future artists & authors of Hong Kong but you are also making a difference in a child’s life!

One day, in a forest that far away from town, a bear shouted, ‘Where can I find happiness?'

A bear's named Kari always felt unhappy because she was very shy and she didn't want to speak to anyone. Therefore, no one was willing to play with her.

Few days later, Kari went out to look for ‘happiness'. First, she met a little rabbit, then she asked, ‘Where …can…I…find…happiness?'

The little rabbit answered, ‘I don't know where happiness is? Let's find together, okay?' Kari agreed.

They went to the river and saw a little bird playing with his friend. Kari and the little rabbit asked together, ‘Excuse me. Where can we find happiness?'

Then the birds answered, 'We think the old man who lives on the happy mountain will know.'

Kari, the little rabbit and the birds said, ‘Let's find together!'

When the animals arrived at the mountain, they heard some music from a cave.

They went into the cave and found the old man. They asked, ‘Excuse me. Where can we find happiness?'

The old man laughed, ‘Happiness is in your heart. You can't find it. Just like you, Kari. You make friends. You have fun with them. Friends can bring you happiness!'
