The Truth or Dare Race
Imagine. Create. Share.
Since 2008, the Kids4Kids My Story Creation annual story writing and illustration competition has provided primary students across Hong Kong with a creative platform that enables the budding writers and artists to imagine, create and share their stories.
This story was written and illustrated by kid(s) who participated in the Kids4Kids annual 'My Story Creation competition'. We hope to celebrate all the kids who used their creativity and imagination to create a story by giving them an opportunity to custom print their story, and be able to share and inspire other kids to create their own story.
Proceeds from the sale of this custom print story will help fund the Literacy Development Programmes at Kids4Kids to provide creative learning opportunities to low resourced communities in Hong Kong. By buying a Kids4Kids custom print story, you are not only applauding the future artists & authors of Hong Kong but you are also making a difference in a child’s life!

Last week, Pilly's friend Biggy challenged Pilly to a race of Truth or Dare. The loser had to go into the dangerous magical forest, the people called it 'The Deadly Forest'. Unluckily, Pilly lost the race and had to go into the Forest.
'Although I'm your friend, you need to go into the Forest as you lost' said Biggy.
'Yes, a deal is a deal.' replied Pilly as he went into the Forest.

In the tunnel, Pilly was given a few tools to help him survive the tunnel.
There are : ropes, a backpack, food, a water bottle, and a small tent.
'Ok then, it's settled, goodluck' said a voice.
'Thank you' said Pilly.

Pilly wandered into The Deadly Forest and got lost because all the trees looked exactly the same. Then, he set up his tent with the rope. He felt dizzy and saw the forest disappear before his eyes.
'Oh my....' Pilly mummered before he fainted.

When we woke up, he saw a kind woman and a very beautiful tree house.
'Hello, I am Mary. I used my wand to bring you here because i sensed danger' said Mary.

'OMG! Then can you teleort me back home?' pleaded Pilly.

'Nope because I can only use it to teleport people in danger. Now you're not in danger so I'm sorry. You can stay here for the night.'

'Ok, I'll stay here then. It's dark outside now but promise me you will help me get out of here?'

'Sure, I'll think of a way'

The next morning, Pilly and Mary walked and walked until noon as they ate berries for lunch.

'OH NO! It's the Magical Lion, the deadliest animal in this world..!' said Mary.

'AHHHH I don't want to die!' Pilly interrupted with a scream.

' just don't look into his eyes and you will be fine. His eyes can turn a person into a stone. If you make noise, he will kill you with just one bite'

'OK...' Pilly stuttered.

'Ssshhh..oh's waking up. it's running TOWARDS US! RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! screamed Pilly.

'PILLY, It;s right behind you!' Mary warned Pilly.

Pilly woke up in his bed and saw Mary sitting beside him.

'What?..How did I come here?' Pilly asked.

'It was my plan to bring you back home so I had to put you in danger first'.

' I remember. You could only teleport me when I was in danger. Thanks Mary, by the way, would you like to go for dinner some time? Pilly asked.

'I would love to!' Mary replied with a big smile.
