Edit to fine-tune the pacing and flow of the story. Is it clear what is happening? A well edited story keeps the readers interested. Don’t let the story become overly complicated!
Remember it is important to sustain a story all the way through.
1.Ask yourself questions about the situation. What would I do if I were the character etc.
2.Allowing the pictures to tell half the story – they should not ONLY illustrate what is in the text. They should convey information that the text does not.
3.How the end is as important as the start. Every good story deserves a great ending - make sure yours has a satisfying ending, not one where the main character wakes from a dream!
Tip: Choosing a good story title is very important to make your reader want to pick up and read to find out more.
